IntelaMetrix Unveils New BodyMetrix? Ultrasound Body Composition with 3-D Visualization Software

At the Club Industry 2005 Conference & Exposition, IntelaMetrix™ Inc., a start-up technology company that delivers state-of-the-art assessment tools for the health, fitness and wellness industries, introduced the first of its kind ultrasound body composition analysis. This new ultrasound device, the BodyMetrix™ BX 2000 along with the 3-D visualization software, is designed for club owners to provide the most accurate body composition assessment more quickly and with less intrusion than existing methods.
Current methods of assessing body composition are either inaccurate, expensive or simply intimidating to members or potential members. The BodyMetrix system allows club owners to eliminate these barriers by offering members and potential members quick and reliable health assessments. BodyMetrix can accurately and easily measure a person’s body composition without time consuming procedures or uncomfortable pinching of fat. BodyMetrix™ uses the same proven and safe ultrasound technology that physicians use to scan and view images of growing babies, and measures site specific fat and muscle thickness and overall body fat percentage.
The BodyMetrix system integrates the exciting new BodyView™ software program. BodyView is a health and wellness, reporting and personal imaging software program which provides 3-D visualization of present and future body views so members or potential members can visualize their fitness goals.
